Water has been restored to most homes and businesses in Bundoran and Ballyshannon.
Vast areas of south of the county were hit by a major outage this morning with most of Bundoran impacted.
Crews were deployed to the scene and have been working to repair a burst to the main line.
That work is said to be nearing completion with all premises expected to have their supply restored ahead of the initial estimated time of 6pm.
