A special ceremony will be held in memory of the late Private Sean Rooney this weekend.
A wreath will be laid at the ceremony, which takes place this Sunday.
Private Rooney, from Newtowncunningham in Donegal, was killed when a vehicle he was driving came under fire on a peacekeeping mission in the Lebanon almost a full year ago.
A man charged with his killing was released from custody last month.
