Gardai are advising motorists to be very careful driving in and around Sligo Town due to an extensive oil spill.
There were reports of the spill along Pearse Road and Mail Coach Road and it extends along the N4 Inner Relief Road.
Staff from Sligo County Council are currently on the scene and are addressing the issue.
Drivers are asked to drive with extra care.
