ATU Sligo’s Lauren Cadden won gold in the women’s 400 metres at Saturday’s Irish Senior Intervarsities Championships in Belfast.
Her winning time of 53.38 seconds broke a third-level record, which had stood since 1999.
The Skreen woman spoke to Austin O’Callaghan on Sunday.
