Sligo’s run in this year’s Connacht minor football championship came on an end on Friday evening following a 1-12 to 0-11 loss to Mayo at Markievicz Park.
That result, coupled with Galway’s 2-17 to 1-10 victory agaisnt Leitrim in Ballinamore, means Mayo qualify directly for the Connacht minor final.

Roscommon and Galway will contest the single Connacht semi-final.
