Galway’s Liam Nolan recovered from a double-bogey on the opening hole to post a third round of 66 for 13-under-par, and lead the Flogas Irish Amateur Open at Co Sligo Golf Club by four strokes, going into Sunday’s final round.
His third round included 10 birdies, including one on the 18th.

His playing partner for the past three days, Matthew McLean (Malone), is also his nearest challenger on -9.
TJ Ford was only Co Sligo golfer to make the cut after Saturday’s third round.
He posted a 74 to be on even par, in 12th place.
The leaders will begin their final rounds on Sunday at 11:54am.
