Carbury FC beat Manorhamilton Rangers 6-0 in Sunday morning’s Sligo Southern Hotel Super League to move top of the table above title rivals Gurteen Celtic on goal diffference.
A Ryan McManus hat-trick, along with two goals from Mark McGoldrick and another from Kyle Cawley gave Carbury an emphatic win which moves them to the summit of the Super League.
Long time league leaders Gurteen, playing in their first full season in the top tier of junior soccer, weren’t playing this weekend.
They still have to play Carbury again in what could be a decisive league fixture.
