A teenager has been arrested following the seizure of more than €5,000 of controlled drugs in Donegal.
It follows a search operation in the Twin Towns at the weekend.
The discovery was made on Friday morning after warrants were executed at two premises in the Stranorlar and Ballybofey areas.
A quantity of drugs including suspected cannabis, cocaine, tablets and ‘magic’ mushrooms were all seized by Gardaí during the course of the operation.
All of the drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for further analysis.
Gardai have confirmed that an adult male in his late teens was arrested at the scene and detained at a Garda station in Donegal under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
He has since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardai say that investigations are ongoing.
