Further warnings have been sounded over a childcare catastrophe looming in north Leitrim.
Many providers have shut for good in Leitrim and the wider North West region, with many more struggling to continue operating.
The root of the issue is said to be the red tape with core funding – providers must now submit mass amounts of accounts records in a specific way in order to obtain it.
