Work has begun on the N4 between Collooney and Carrowroe today.
Sligo County Council have advised motorists of the works, which will be taking place between the Collooney roundabout and the Carrowroe interchange.
The work is expected to go on for eight days and major traffic management will be in operation for the duration.
Motorists are advised to factor in additional time to their journeys, and Sligo County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused.
