A contractor has been appointed to service public toilets in Mullaghmore.
They will be open from today, and will be maintained after Sligo County Council secured an appointment.
Portaloos have been in operations for the last number of years, as local residents campaign to have them changed for more long-term solutions.
Independent Sligo-Drumcliffe Cllr Marie Casserly highlighted the importance of this to locals and tourists alike.
