Fianna Fáil candidates Brennan and Gallagher elected in Ballymote-Tubbercurry



Two Fianna Fáil candidates have taken the sixth and seventh seats in the Ballymote-Tubbercurry electoral area.

Liam Brennan and Barry Gallagher received 2001 and 1569 votes respectively following the twelfth and final count.

It is the first time Mr. Brennan contested a local election while Mr. Gallagher contested the 2019 local elections as an Independent candidate where he received 1109 votes.

They join Michael Clarke (Independent), Paul Taylor (Fianna Fáil), Joseph Queenan (Independent), Dara Mulvey (Fine Gael) and Gerard Mullaney (Fine Gael) as members of the local authority for the next five years.
