The FAI have confirmed the fixture details for Sligo Rovers’ Sports Direct FAI Cup second round tie against Cobh Wanderers.
The game will take place on Sunday, July 21st at The Showgrounds at 6pm.
Wanderers, who play in the Munster senior league, booked their place in round two of the cup following a 5-4 victory over College Corinthians.
Contrary to previous seasons, League of Ireland clubs entered domestic football’s premier cup competition this season at the last 32 stage.
Rovers have failed to progress from the first round of the cup in the last three seasons with the club reaching the semi-finals in 2020.
The Bit O’Red last won the FAI Cup in 2013 with a 3-2 victory over Drogheda United at the Aviva Stadium.
