The Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council, Councillor Declan Bree will open a Book of Condolence for the late Tommie Gorman on Thursday, June 27th.
The book will open from 12 noon at the lobby of City Hall in Quay Street to allow members of the public to extend their sympathies to the family of Mr Gorman.
In a statement following the former RTÉ reporter’s passing, Councillor Bree said Mr Gorman “loved his native Sligo with a passion. His ability in representing and reflecting the voices of the people of Sligo and highlighting their stories was unparalleled.”
