Sligo Rovers have confirmed that tickets for the Sligo Rovers v Everton friendly at the Showgrounds later this month have already sold out.
It’s understood tickets for the glamour friendly on Friday, July 19th, sold out online in a matter of hours – with large queues at the ground on Tuesday for children’s tickets, which also sold out quickly.
The Showgrounds has an official capacity of 3,873.
Announced by Rovers on Monday, the match will form part of Everton’s pre-season tour to Ireland ahead of the new English Premier League season.
The link between Rovers and Everton club captain Seamus Coleman has generated considerable interest in the fixture.
The two clubs have also had a strategic partnership in place across a range of club activities since 2021.
The game will take place at the Showgrounds on Friday, July 19th, at 4pm.
