Two Donegal players in Ireland squad for Euro qualifiers

Donegal duo Amber Barrett and Tyler Toland have both been named in the Ireland women’s soccer squad today for upcoming Euro 2025 qualifiers against England and France.

Head Coach Eileen Gleeson has selected a 26-player squad for the trip to Carrow Road to face European champions England on Friday, July 12th before hosting France in Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Tuesday, July 16th.

There is a call-up for 60-times-capped midfielder Julie-Ann Russell who last played for Ireland in March 2020 – and has been a key player for Galway United in the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division.
