A mother and daughter who were killed in a crash in north Mayo will be laid to rest later today.
Aisling Moore and daughter Abbigael died when the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry near Foxford on Tuesday evening.
Gardaí say that they are continuing to investigate the collision which happened on the N26 near Foxford.
The crash, involving a car and a lorry, happened at around 5:45pm on Tuesday evening, resulting in the deaths of Aisling Moore who was 46 and her daughter Abbigael was 8 years old.
Their funeral Mass takes place today at 12 noon in Our Lady Help of Christians Church prior to burial in Swinford Cemetery.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage including dash-cam and were traveling on the N26 between Swinford and Foxford between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Tuesday evening are asked to provide this footage to Gardaí.
