Sligo’s Brian Colsh and Sarah Walsh have been selected for Team Ireland ahead of the U23 World Rowing Championships, U19 World Rowing Championships and Coupe de le Jeunesse.
Racing at the World Championships will commence on August 18th in St. Catharines in Canada, while the Coupe de la Jeunesse will take place from August 9th to 11th in Racice in the Czech Republic.
Ballymote’s Brian Colsh, who is a member of the University of Galway Boat Club, has been selected as part of the Men’s Sculls team.
Meanwhile, Sarah Walsh, of Sligo Rowing Club, has been included in the Women’s Quad team for the Coupe de le Jeunesse.
Colsh is part of the biggest team that Ireland have ever sent to the U23 World Championships, and 15 different crews will compete for Ireland across all three competitions.
