Calls have been made in Leitrim to determine the amount of local land ownership, and the impact it has on the local economy.
Concerns have been raised over the amount of money that leaves the county, due to land being owned externally and used for non-agricultural means, such as forestry.
Independent Manorhamilton Cllr Eddie Mitchell highlighted the consequences at a recent county council meeting.
