Sligo University Hospital remains second-most overcrowded today



For the second-consecutive day, Sligo University Hospital is the second most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today, according to the latest figures from the INMO Trolley Watch.

 

As of this morning, there were 50 patients without a bed in SUH, only behind University Hospital Limerick on 85.

 

Meanwhile, there were 11 patients on trolleys in Letterkenny University Hospital.

 

Nationally, of the 363 patients waiting for beds this morning, 263 are in the emergency department, with 100 in wards elsewhere in the hospitals.
