Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team were tasked to a callout on Tuesday afternoon, after a person lost their way on a forest trail in Sligo.
The mountain rescue team were requested by An Garda Síochana.
As the crew were about to leave their base, they received a call from the person in question, who was uninjured, to say that they had found their way back to the path, having met up with a family member and that they were safe.
The Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team are reminding people that if they are ever lost or injured, to call them on 999 or 112, and ask for them through An Garda Síochana.
