Over €1.3M to be shared among Sligo community groups



Over €1.3 million is to be shared among a number of community groups in Sligo.

 

The funding has been awarded under the Community Recognition Fund.

 

Among the local highlights include almost two hundred thousand euro a piece for a new playground at Monasteraden and for upgrade works at the Sligo regional sports complex.

 

Another significant allocation locally is almost 180,000 euro for the North Sligo Athletic Club.
