Donegal weather warning upgraded from yellow to orange



The rain warning for Donegal has been upgraded from yellow to orange.

The orange warning will be in place for the county from 12 midnight until 10am on Monday.

It also affects counties Galway and Mayo with Met Éireann warning of flooding, very difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility.

Donegal was previously placed under a status yellow warning alongside counties Sligo and Leitrim.

That warning is in place from 12 noon on Sunday until 12 noon on Monday.

All five Connacht counties, as well as Clare been included in the yellow warning.
