Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses following Sunday morning’s fatal road-traffic collision in north Sligo.
The two-vehicle accident between a van and a lorry took place at Urlar at around 6am.
The driver of the van, a man in his late 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.
While the lorry driver, a male in his 50s, was removed to Sligo University Hospital for assessment to non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward, particularly those with camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area at the time are urged to provide it to investigating Gardaí.
