Sligo natives Nicole Fowley and Poppy Garvey, along with Ardara’s Laoise McGonagle, have all been included in a 37-strong Connacht senior women’s rugby squad for the 2024 Vodafone interprovincial series, which begins this weekend.
Ireland international Fowley, who captained Connacht last season, will share the role this year alongside Shannon Tuohy.
Connacht travel to Dublin this Saturday (Aug 10th) to play holders Leinster in their opening game at Energia Park (4:45pm).
They have subequent matches against Ulster in Belfast (Aug 17th) and against Munster in Galway (Aug 24th)
