A man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with online threats against Taoiseach Simon Harris.
An investigation into the incidents is ongoing.
The man is is currently detained under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in the north western region.
No further information is available this time.
Separately, Gardaí are also investigating several other threats against Mr. Harris since he became Taoiseach.
A man was arrested on Friday in connection with a bomb threat to his home.
He has since been released without charge.
