Gardaí are investigating a number of burglaries that took place in Mountcharles this week.
A large quantity of tools and machinery were taken in each incident.
In a social media post earlier this week, Jordan Motorworx in Drumconnor, Mountcharles alleged that a large amount of tools, car diagnostic equipment, batteries and chargers had been stolen between August 11th and 12th. It’s understood that their building was damaged as the thieves gained entry.
On the same dates, a quad bike was moved from a shed in the same area between 1.30pm and 9.30am. The quad bike was later found abandoned.
And on Monday, August 12th, a number of tools were stolen from a car breaking premises. This incident occurred at around 12.35am.
In relation to all three incidents, Gardaí say that all three scenes were preserved for technical examinations, and that investigations are ongoing. They are also appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with any information, to come forward.
