Killybegs Coast Guard were tasked twice in a matter of hours yesterday.
The seperate incidents took place at Slieve League and Ardara.
Yesterday afternoon, Killybegs Coast Guard received a call to assist a hiker that had taken a fall while climbing Slieve League. The casualty sustained an injury to her lower leg.
Upon arrival of the Coast Guard team, she received first aid treatment, was placed in a stretcher and brought to the car park where there was an awaiting ambulance.
Just a few hours later, the team were called out again, this time to an incident in Ardara.
A cyclist came off their bike and sustained a head injury.
The Coast Guard team arrived at the scene, and assisted the National Ambulance Service and the Rescue 118 helicopter from Sligo with the rescue.
The casualty was then brought to hospital via the helicopter.
In statements posted on social media afterwards, Killybegs Coast Guard have wished both casualties a speedy recovery.
