Common sense needs to prevail in the case of Billy Bustard, who was fined after parking on the Diamond in Donegal Town while fundraising for cancer services last weekend.
That’s the view of Independent Donegal Councillor, Michael McClafferty, who is lending his support to Mr Bustard after he was issued a fine of €250 by Donegal County Council.
A protest is due to take place on the Diamond on Saturday, and Councillor McClafferty says he will be in attendance this weekend.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, Councillor McClafferty says that he will go to whatever lengths possible to get the fine overturned.
