Killybegs Coast Guard were tasked for the third time this week yesterday, to assist a hillwalker at Muckross.
The casualty had sustained a serious injury.
With the assistance of locals, the National Ambulance Service and the Rescue 118 helicopter from Sligo, the casualty was airlifted to hospital for further treatment of their injuries.
Killybegs Coast Guard are reminding people that if they get into difficulty on land or sea, they can be contacted by calling 999 or 112, and by asking for the Coast Guard.
