Three candidates have been confirmed to contest the Fine Gael convention in the Sligo-Leitrim constituency.
Nominations closed on Wednesday evening for the convention which will take place on Sunday, September 1st.
The Fine Gael members nominated are sitting TD Frank Frank Feighan, Councillor Thomas Walsh and former Sligo-Leitrim Deputy John Perry.

It remains to be seen what strategy the party will take for the general election which includes a decision on how many candidates will run in the constituency.
