An injured hiker has been airlifted to hospital following an incident in south west Donegal.
Killybegs Coast Guard were tasked at 15.45 yesterday along with Donegal Mountain Rescue to Glenlough Bay, where a casualty had sustained a lower leg injury.
The casualty was airlifted by Rescue 118 and transported to hospital for further treatment.
In a statement, Killybegs Coastguard say that this was their fifth call out in nine days.
