A status yellow rain warning has been issued for a number of counties including Donegal and Leitrim.
It comes into effect at 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon and lasts until 10am on Tuesday.
Met Éireann says the localised flooding is likely with outdoor events also likely to be impacted.
A separate weather alert for Donegal is already in place today, expiring at 3pm this afternoon.
