Many listeners will be familiar with the name of Fergal Guihen, the Arigna native who worked as a general nurse at Sligo University Hospital decided to take on a massive 11 month challenge of cycling from the north west of Ireland to Australia in aid of the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation and North West Stop suicide Prevention.
There was general concern last week when he posted on Social media how he had been the victim of an attack in Iran.
