Sligo University Hospital was the third most overcrowded in Ireland today, according to the latest trolley watch report.
There were 40 people awaiting admission there this morning.
Nationally, there were 429 people awaiting admission at hospitals across the country today with Limerick the most overcrowded – 54 people waiting there.
