New data shows that Leitrim has some of the highest number of homes available to buy per head of population.
There are only 12 homes for sale, per 10-thousand people, in Monaghan while Meath and Kildare were the counties with the next greatest shortage.
Leitrim and Roscommon, had the highest number of homes available according to the analysis by Savills.
