The Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team were tasked to a callout last night after a person got caught in darkness and bad conditions while out hill-walking.
The incident occurred at around 10.55pm, and the team were tasked by An Garda Síochána.
While en route to the rescue, the team were then notified that the person was located and had been safely walked off the hill.
Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team have thanked An Garda Síochána and the North West Mountain Rescue Team for their assistance on the matter.
