Woman killed in St Johnston collision named locally

Woman killed in St Johnston collision named locally

The woman who died in a road traffic collision in St Johnston on Friday afternoon has been named locally.

Patricia McBrearty, who was in her early 80s, she died after being struck by a lorry at around 2pm.

The late Mrs McBrearty is the fourth person to die on Donegal’s roads in the past seven days bringing the national total to 126.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision to come forward.
