A man has died in a drowning tragedy off the Donegal coast.
The incident happened shortly before 8pm yesterday evening.
The man, who was in his 60s, got into difficulty while in the water near Dungloe.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the man was removed from the water but was later pronounced dead.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out and the local coroner has been notified.
An investigation into his death is ongoing.
