Ulster football champions Donegal have received seven PwC GAA-GPA football All-Star nominations for 2024 – with Ciarán Moore (St Eunan’s) one of three players on the shortlist for Young Footballer of the Year.

All-Ireland champions Armagh, predictably, top the list of nominations with 11 – with beaten finalists Galway taking eight.

The seven Donegal players selected are:

  2. Brendan McCole (St Naul’s)
  3. Peader Mogan (St Naul’s)
  4. Ryan McHugh (Kilcar)

  7. Oisín Gallen (MacCumhaill’s).

Connacht neighbours Mayo and Roscommon have two nominations each, with Aidan O’Shea and Ryan O’Donoghue selected for Kevin McStay’s side, while Brian Stack and Diarmuid Murtagh are nominated for Roscommon.

Armagh’s Barry McCambridge and the Galway duo of Paul Conroy and John Maher are three nominees for Footballer of the Year.
