Sligo University Hospital is the third most overcrowded hospital in the country today.
According to the latest figures from the INMO Trolley Watch, there 45 patients without a bed this morning.
This is only behind University Hospital Limerick with 98, and Cork University Hospital on 59.
Nationally, there were 505 admitted patients without a bed, with 352 of them waiting in the emergency department, and a further 153 in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
