Sligo continues to have the highest number of homeless people in the North West.
The Department of Housing has released its homeless report for August.
The figures focus on adults accessing local authority managed emergency accommodation during the week of 19th-25th of last month.
Across Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal, there were a total of 147 people classified as homeless during this period – 75 in Sligo, 53 in Donegal and 19 in Leitrim.
It accounts for 1% of the national total.
Of these, 119 were single adults, 97 were male and 50 female.
There were 23 families in the North West accessing emergency accommodation over this time, 20 of which were single parent families and 51 child dependants.
