Michael Kelly to contest General Election

Michael Kelly has been selected by the National Alliance to contest the next General Election.

Mr. Kelly previously ran for the Irish People’s Party in the Sligo Borough in June’s local elections receiving 182 first preference votes.

He was subsequently eliminated after the fifth count, picking up 211 votes in total.

While it is not yet known when the election will be held, Taoiseach Simon Harris has recently said the government will see out it’s full term into next year.

However, speculation still remains that it will take place of November of this year.
