It’s understood a man from Donegal has been killed in a workplace accident in Australia.
The incident took place at around midday local time on Wednesday afternoon, after the man in his mid-thirties was struck by the arm of an excavator in Queensland.
According to local sources, he sustained serious head injuies, and was transferred to Royal Perth Hospital where he died a short time later.
Another man is also in a stable condition following the incident.
