Sinn Fein will hold their selection convention for the Sligo Leitrim constituency ahead of the upcoming General Election tonight.
It’s understood that the party will run two candidates in the region.
Two of those candidates, former MEP Chris McManus and sitting councillor, Thomas Healy, will be vying for one place on the ticket, as sitting TD, Martin Kenny, will be chosen to run again.
The convention gets underway in the Sligo Park Hotel at 8pm this evening.
