As we move into October it’s noticeable how the evenings are getting darker and colder.
Many people will be looking forward to sitting down beside a good open fire or stove which is more than likely fueled by turf from here on. But these nights could be coming to an end.
There is speculation that ‘turf inspectors’ could be deployed to your property to check if you are burning turf and if you are they could be instructed to remove the turf and destroy it.
