Glencar/Manorhamilton are celebrating a fifth consecutive Leitrim Gotham Dry Wall senior football championship title following Saturday’s 1-7 to 1-6 victory over St Joseph’s in Cloone.
Muireann Devaney scored 1-4 and played a pivotal role in the north Leitrim club completing the five-in-a-row.
St Joseph’s battled gamely throughout and caused their opponents several problems at different stages of the game.
However, Glencar/Manor’s knowhow and experience saw them edge to victory by the narrowest of margins.
