Large group from North West in Dublin for hospitality protests



A large delegation from the North West is making its way towards Dublin today as part of the hospitality industry’s day of action.

 

Protests are taking place in the capital against what they claim is the government’s neglect of the sector.

 

Following the latest budget, the hospitality VAT rate remains at 13.5%, while it was hoped it would be reduced to 9%.
