Donegal residents raise concerns over windfarm impact

There is currently a near-neighbour payment available to those who live within 1km of a windfarm, but many believe this payment should be reviewed.

Some residents living near Cloghervaddy windfarm outside Donegal town had prevoisuly been recieving the funds have since had the payments discontinued.

Independent councillor Jimmy Brogan says anyone who is affected by the wind farms should receive funding.
