Two motorists caught speeding in Donegal



Gardaí have confirmed that while conducting speed checkpoints in county Donegal, two motorists were detected exceeding the speed limit.

 

One driver was travelling at 95km/h n the N13, Carrowreagh, Bridge End, while a second was observed travelling at a speed of 157km/h on the R238 at Tromaty, Quigleys Point.

 

Gardaí have previously warned that they will be out in force in Donegal and elsewhere this Bank Holiday weekend.

 

Checkpoints are planned for a number of locations across the region over the next few days, with Gardaí set to clampdown on various offences.

 

Gardaí are reminding all road users to slow down and help save lives.
